Mr Toscani is a very energetic and humorous person, he loves the italian traditional handcrafts and thinks that young talents are necessary to perpetuate them.
And lastly, this is the message from Oliviero Toscani :
« I think that Japan is the best in the world regarding design, really. I do hope that next year we will receive a lot of proposals for nice projects and I would like to say to Japanese designers to think about nice, personal and truly japanese design projects. May be next year the first prize will be granted to a Japanese woman, the second to a Japanese man and the third to a Japanese woman again. »
